A suit won’t have any satin, and it will have bone or plastic buttons.
The bigger difference is when you wear a suit versus a tuxedo. A tuxedo is used to commemorate a special occasion. If you just want to rent, we recommend going for the prom tuxedo. It’ll add a special touch to the occasion and mark it as truly special. Slim fit Prom Suits vs Traditional fit
Slim fit tuxedos are by far the most popular style for any prom tuxedo. Slim fit suits generally have a more fitted jacket and narrower pant legs than a traditional fit suit. The slim fit pants will also be slightly shorter than a traditional pant. A slim fit look doesn't mean skinny, though. If you want the really tight pant leg, you want an ultra slim fit tuxedo.
